Her appetite caused death, the separationfrom God and the difficulty we have in our human relationships.
We still try to cover up our messes,
our sins, with the newest '
fashion statements!

WOMEN OF THE BIBLE
Porcupine people are in our lives. They go: “ready, aim, fire!”.
They mean to shoot us with their sharp quills. These quills
penetrate our spirit and our love, joy, and peace ooze from
every wound. Hannah exhibited the fruit of the Spirit in spite
of her porcupine person, Penninnah. She was blessed of God.
She asked for him, she got him---Samuel.
Let Hannah come and tell you and
others how to live above the
circumstances of porcupine people
by ASKING GOD.

Leah, the first looser, was Jacob’s first wife but Rachel, the winner, was Jacob’s second wife. Confusing? It surely was.
Leah tried and tried to win Jacob’s love. Finally after their fourth son, Leah chose to just ‘JUDAH’, SHE PRAISED THE LORD. Leah decided to focus on her relationship with her God.
She couldn’t change people so she changed her focus and just praised her God.
God’s watching you and God’s watching me.
Life’s not fair, you will agree.
God honored Leah and brought her fame.
Just praise God, He’ll do the same.
The most famous mother-in-law throughout history is Naomi from the Book of RUTH. She’s sad. She’s mad. She changes her name along with her attitude---from ‘Pleasant---Naomi’ to
‘Bitter---Mara’.
Storm clouds overtook Naomi:
*Sand storms that come with drought.
*The hurricane of death.
*The tidal wave of loneliness.
*The typhoon of poverty, depression and dependence.
*The tornado of bitterness towards her God.
Naomi was shown God’s
unmerited favor in the person
of Ruth, her heathen daughter-in-law.
Naomi and Ruth needed a man
to purchase, protect and provide for them.
Hear how God met this need in Naomi’s kinsman, redeemer, Boaz, and ultimately in the Lord Jesus Christ.
